On the peninsula La Manga you will find the brand new golf attraction, Veneziola Golf. Veneziola Golf opened the winter of 2005 and is a training facility that is all the way down by the shoreline of the Mediterranean ocean. The facility is open for everyone and has among other things a 9-hole “pitch and put” course together with a driving range. There are all ready also planned a new golf course on La Manga, more information about that will come later.

One of the best and most known golf courses in Europe, La Manga Club lays in the hill above Mar Menor and La Manga. Here are three very good 18-hole golf courses that satisfy even the most picky golf player. La Manga Club contain training facilities for the Norwegian Football Society where the well-known football tournament, La Manga Cup is hold. La Manga Club also have SPA, casino and nightclubs including a lot of good restaurants.

The Murcia region is the one in Spain that have most golf facilities under planning and constructing. All in all there is about thirty courses in the region. Just in the Mar Menor area there is building eight 18-hole courses that all lays around the bay. The first new facilities are already opened and the other will continuously open in the period 2005-2008. This gives you who play golf a huge and variable selection in all the price categories you wish.
