Travel to La Manga

Travelling to La Manga is easy and comfortable. The airline company Ryanair serve the main airport in Murcia, San Javier Airport which is about 25 minutes from La Manga. Ryanair flies several times per week from the UK. San Javier is a small and surveyable airport that is easy to travel to.

SASBraathens and Sterling flies to Alicante airport that is only one hour from La Manga. Alicante airport is a bit bigger than San Javier airport - Murcia, but still very surveyable and easy to travel to. From UK there are flights to Alicante every single day from major cities.



To and from the airports

La Manga Booking offers to pick up from- and drive to the airport for all the costumers to both San Javier airport - Murcia and Alicante airport. The easiest way to order this is through the booking of apartment system. The latest opportunity to book the service will be at least 7 days before departure/arrival, to order the service you have to fill out the order form at the "contact us" page.

Prices to or from San Javier: €60 Euro (until 4 persons) - Alicante: €140 Euro (until 4 persons)

It is also easy to rent a car from the airport if you wish to drive from the airport by your own. You can book a car through the order form on the "Rental Car" page, this have to be done at least 7 days before you need the car. To hire your own car is something we highly recommend to all of our costumers who wants to travel a bit around in the region and see something else than only La Manga. The most reasonable alternative is to hire the car for 3 or 7 days. The roads in Spain are easy to follow and there are many exciting outing opportunities from La Manga. Check out the "adventure/outing tips" if you feel like to explore a bit on your own. To travel in La Manga is very easy since the half island only has one main road to follow. "Grand Via" is the main road, and it has dual lanes in both directions.

To take the bus from the airport is not recommended since the bus will first stop in Murcia , that means many hours more with travelling than necessary for those who has their stop at La Manga. However there are planes to set up a travel opportunity with bus from La Manga to San Javier airport - Murcia, the information about that will be updated on the web pages when the route comes.

To take a road trip from UK to La Manga is an interesting and exciting adventure. The road construction in Spain is well developed and from France there is a 4-field highway to follow all the way down to La Manga. Otherwise there is also an exceptional railway system in the whole of Spain as the rest of Europe, the nearest railway station is in Cartagena, 20 minuets from La Manga.
